Meet Sacha Carlos-Raps

Born and raised in the Philippines, Sacha is a self-taught artist and educator based in New York. She has a curiosity about delving into the shared emotional connections we have with both natural surroundings, constructed spaces, surrealist vignettes and objects that hold strong metaphors.

About Sacha Raps

Sacha Raps creates handmade glassware, prints and art objects for the playfully absurd home. When not working at the studio, Founder, Sacha teaches glass classes at Urban Glass, Shiny Sparkle Labs, and Craftsman Ave in Brooklyn.

Sacha Raps actively engages with New York’s vibrant AANHPI community, sharing her Philippine culture and immigrant journey through workshops, community events and markets that center BIPOC makers.
