About Oaksmith Furniture
Founded in 2017, Oaksmith Furniture’s mission is to make handcrafted, custom furniture accessible for all. Each piece is crafted using high quality materials sourced from local Bay Area suppliers.
Founder and designer Dominique Tutwiler takes a minimalistic approach to each design, driven by a belief that each piece should be just as functional as it is beautiful. As a small business based in the Bay Area, Oaksmith Furniture aims to solve problems for the urban dweller, challenged with furnishing small spaces.
In an effort to run a zero-waste shop, Oaksmith Furniture also designs limited-edition gifts and decorative objects, all crafted using the excess material saved from past work.
