The American Craft Convening brings together makers from across the United States for an immersive learning experience centered on craftsmanship, creative business growth and community.

Hosted by Nest in partnership with Hermès, the Convening reflects a shared commitment to investing in the future of American craft by equipping makers with practical business knowledge and meaningful connections.
Join us to harness the Hermès team’s knowledge and expertise, and explore ways to develop your skills and business knowledge as a US maker. Makers will participate in interactive sessions focused on strengthening their creative businesses, while connecting with fellow makers from across the country.
Join Nest and Hermès in New York City on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9, 2026 for two days of immersive learning and connection.

Client Relationship Management
E-commerce Strategies
Nest will also host a half-day of networking and creative activities on Saturday, October 10, providing participants with an opportunity to spend more time together and experience New York City's vibrant creative community. Additionally, Convening participants will also be invited to a welcome reception on Wednesday, October 7 with fellow participants, Hermès and Nest staff.
The American Craft Convening is an exclusive opportunity for members of Nest's Makers United program who are based in and actively producing products within the United States.
Travel + Accommodations
Nest is committed to making participation as accessible as possible.
Accommodations will be provided on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day
Approved travel expenses will be covered for participants traveling from outside the New York City area.
We will be accepting applications through Monday, August 10th.
