Embroiderers have two more weeks to submit a piece to the SFSNAD Stitch-at-Home Challenge

Calling all embroiderers! There are two weeks left to submit a piece to San Francisco School of Needlework and Design (SFSNAD)’s Stitch-at-Home Challenge, focusing this summer on the alluring subject matter of talismans. Not sure where to start? SFSNAD has done the hard work of compiling pages of inspiration to spark your creativity and to get you stitching.

The Talisman Stitch-At-Home Challenge is additionally supporting circularity, as every 13th Challenge registrant will receive a packet of upcycled Swarovski crystals to be used in their submissions. From these lucky submissions, a group of curated works will take part in an extended showcase in New York at Nest’s Annual Impact Dinner.

We look forward to sharing with you the collection of pieces that will unfold – who knows, perhaps your own handiwork will be among them!

Submissions will be accepted until August 15.
