Dream, Dare, and Do with Us this International Women’s Day

In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day on March 8th, we are proud to team up once again with QVC and its sister brand HSN to celebrate and support female entrepreneurs like the outstanding women of the Nest Artisan Guild. Each day, these women amaze us with their efforts to generate opportunities for the women, sisters, and mothers in their communities, by engaging them in craft-based work. As the second largest employer of women globally, handcraft, and most

importantly – the women who do it – have the power to make our world a better, more innovative, more compassionate place. Inspired by the women’s movement sweeping the nation, we extend the message across the world. It’s been far too long now that women have been forced to deal with broken systems that seek to undercut them and keep them from realizing their fullest potentials. What can we all do break these down and stand up for our rights?

Every day, Nest is working on solutions. And today, QVC is helping us reach millions of women across the U.S. who can shop from a curated collection with the power to support a woman.  From today, throughout the month, QVC is featuring a curated collection of products from women-led brands like Peace Love World that are excellent gifts for women in our lives who inspire us to Dream, Dare, and Do. Through this initiative, QVC, HSN, and participating brands will donate a minimum of $325,000 to support Nest’s efforts to provide female leaders at the helm of craft-based enterprises with better access to resources, mentorship, and international market exposure.

It is lastly our wish to give voice to the women who we at Nest have the joy of speaking with everyday – the women leaders of the Nest Artisan Guild. Their inspiring accounts of the risks they have taken, passions they continue to fearlessly pursue, and why it’s all so worth it, are a great reminder of how access to economic opportunity helps women truly realize their fullest potentials.
