The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society is the world’s leading platform bringing women’s voices to the debate on global issues. This year, Nest’s Founder and Executive Director, Rebecca van Bergen, will speak at the Global Meeting, contributing to the Forum’s goal of inspiring concrete action around the theme of ‘Daring to lead in a disrupted world‘. Joined by Livia Firth of Ecoage and Peter Lacy of Accenture, Rebecca will lend the Nest perspective to a “Fashion Forward” panel exploring challenges and opportunities for improving fashion’s contributions to our world.
Nest’s Third Annual Artisan Leadership Summit will culminate as a multi-stakeholder forum at the United Nations, where participants and attendees will lay the groundwork for a circular global supply chains in which handworkers, brands, and consumers are connected through an interconnected and human-centric value chain. The event brings together brands, policy-makers, philanthropists, and 20 artisan leaders from around the world, and includes discussions from Vanessa Friedman, Andrew Morgan, Bandana Tewari, and Simone Cipriani.
